Arnprior + District Museum invites you to a screening of The Fruit Machine on November 9th at 2 pm. This a remarkable film about a policy of surveillance and interrogation of 2SLGBQI+ people by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) from the late 1950s through the early 1990s and documents unbelievable commitment to military service. Upon its release, CBC claimed every Canadian should see this film.
Viewers should be aware the film includes some coarse language and experiences of sexual assault.
Arnprior + District Museum is also recognizing Remembrance Day with a pop up exhibit on its first and second floors celebrating service from both World Wars and the Korean War.
